When I drink a smoothie, it’s usually this one. When someone asks for a smoothie recipe, this is the one I give them. I call it my peanut butter and jelly smoothie. I drank it through chemo, and I drank one 3 days ago. But here’s the thing: I hate bananas precisely because I drank this through chemo.
And I’ll still send it your way because it is packed with protein and vitamins, and is really good for your body. It is absolutely perfect when you don’t have time to eat, or when you don’t feel like eating, or when you can’t taste anything. If you can suck this down, you’ve hit some nutrition goals for the day, and if you’re in this eating biz to care about your body, that’s the best thing you can do for yourself.
And if you’re in chemo and have lost your sense of taste, drink this. The cold will soothe your mouth, and you’ll get something in your bod.

Terra's Favorie Smoothie
- 2 C Baby Greens
- 1 1/2 C Berries fresh or frozen
- 1 C Greek Yogurt
- 1/2 C Almond Milk
- 1 Banana
- 2 Tbsp Peanut Butter
- 2 Tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Chia Seeds
- 1 tsp Flax Seeds
- Put everything in the blender, and press frappe! Enjoy!
